Position Details:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a candidate with strong actuarial or analytics experience within P&C insurance to lead our North America Actuarial Transformation team.
The team will support the transformation efforts for the North America Actuarial function by developing and maintaining systems and tools that enhance actuarial and analytical capabilities.
Your expertise in actuarial analysis and analytics will be crucial in enabling the team to deliver precise insights and support strategic decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and design actuarial tools and models that supportactuaries for the purpose of exploration investigation extrapolation and other general insights to support their business needs.
Collaborate with actuaries to understand their needs.
Conceptualize dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Provide training and support to team members on actuarial analyses use of actuarial tools and data management systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle challenges creatively.
At least 10 years of experience especially in actuarial / analytical role within P&C insurance
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. SQL Python R) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Qlik) will be an advantage
High level of experience in actuarial methodologies and the P&C insurance industry.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and quality.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
