Job Description
Our client is seeking 2 General Labourers to assist with a roof replacement project in Townsville. This is a hands-on temporary assignment starting 30th October for approximately 2 weeks.
About the RoleLocation: Townsville QLD
Duration: 2 weeks (starting 30th October)
Hours: 6:30am start approx. 810 hrs/day
Pay Rate: $35 per hour penalty rates (1.5x/2x overtime where applicable)
Assisting roofers with roof replacement
Lifting and moving sheets and materials
General site labouring tasks
Roofing or construction/manual labour experience preferred
Comfortable lifting heavy materials
White Card (essential)
Able to work at heights (ticket desirable)
Fit reliable and safety-focused
Must wear soft sole shoes (sneakers/runners) no work boots allowed
Sun protection required
Onsite hazards managed (lifting noise heavy tools slips/trips heights)
Water & amenities available onsite
Good hourly rate with overtime penalties
Short-term work with daily consistency
Work with an experienced roofing team
