Position Information:
We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our RFBI Benhome Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.
We are an award winning leading aged care provider delivering best quality aged care services that are making a difference in peoples lives.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Shower dress groom assist with meals and make the beds
- Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
- Provide care management for diabetes arthritis and other conditions.
- Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
- Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
What we look for:
- Certificate III in Aged Care
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous experience in an aged care environment
- An enthusiastic and motivated approach
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid police check clearance
- Current flu and Covid vaccination
- Must be eligible to work in Australia.
