Job Description

  • Maths Teacher required to work full-time from January 2026
  • Coeducational school serving ages 2 to 18 with therapeutic and SEN focus

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a unique independent therapeutic school in the Northampton area. The role will involve teaching Mathematics across KS3 & KS4 and depending on experience contributing to post-16 / extension programmes. The department is supported by a commitment to small class sizes bespoke interventions and a holistic approach to student development. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers ECTs and suitably qualified overseas candidates with a recognised teaching qualification and QTS (or equivalent). School Information

  • This school is a non-selective independent therapeutic and special school registered with the DfE and ISI serving pupils aged 2 to 18.
  • The campus is situated within Overstone Park embedding the school in over 350 acres of countryside and woodland giving a calm spacious setting conducive to learning and therapeutic support.
  • The building is a single-storey modern structure with eco-friendly timber cladding over a permanent brick base designed to blend into the natural surroundings.
  • The school owns approximately 15 acres of playing fields and recreational space allowing for outdoor teaching sports and therapeutic outdoor activities.
  • Recent campus developments include therapeutic cabins used for therapies music therapy animal care and sports therapy.
  • The curriculum for older pupils includes five key mathematical areas (Processes & Applications Number Algebra Geometry & Measure Statistics) in alignment with best practice in mathematics education.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Maths Teacher able to teach across KS3 & KS4; experience or willingness to support extension / post-16 mathematics is desirable
  • A recognised formal teaching qualification with QTS or equivalent
  • Legal right to work in the UK
