Maths Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced department
Our Client is looking for a Maths Teacher to work within a leading Independent School in Somerset. The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to teach at KS3 KS4 and A-Level. The department is well resourced and benefits from an approachable and supportive Head of Department. School Information
This is a well-established co-educational Independent School with around 850 pupils on roll including a strong sixth form of 250 students. The school has a proud history of academic excellence with consistently high exam results in 2024 82% of GCSE students achieved grades 97 in Maths while at A-Level more than 68% secured grades A*B. Many pupils go on to study Mathematics Engineering and Economics at Russell Group universities. The school is set on an attractive campus with excellent boarding and day facilities and it provides a wide range of enrichment opportunities including Maths Olympiads UKMT competitions and strong links with local universities.
Experience and Qualifications
- Maths Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3 KS4 and KS5
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
- Legal ability to work within the UK
