Hospital: TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center Location: Hendersonville TN Address: 355 New Shackle Island Rd Unit Name: OB Building: The Birth Center Cost Center: 660 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 20 LDRPs 5 OB assessment beds Patient Ratios : 1: 3-4 couplets 1:1 for all active labors VBACs Laboring Magnesium sulfate Laboring Insulin. 1:1-2 for triage early labor/cervical ripening. Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretary m-f PCT m-f 0300-1130 OB Scrub tech 24/7. Type of equipment : GE fetal monitors novii s Documentation system: CPN and Meditech Scheduling requirements: Utilize Timpani scheduling. Preferences highly considered. Floating policy: No floating. Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report every shift every time. Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS NRP Stable Awhonn Intermediate fetal monitoring Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Labor and Delivery experience Intermediate fetal monitoring Triage experience Advanced skills needed: Couplet care circulating in OR Procedures performed on unit: Vaginal deliveries versions C/S epidurals postpartum tubals cerclage removal circumcisions Certifications Required: BLS NRP Stable Awhonn Intermediate fetal monitoring Dress Code: (Required uniform) Pink scrubs (shocking pink)- no pale pink or mauve Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
