Duration: 13 week

Shift: Night

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1584 - $1728; Depending on experience (negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced EEG Tech to join our team in Atlanta GA for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in performing EEG procedures with a strong understanding of pediatric EEG testing. Key Responsibilities:

Perform EEG procedures for patients of all ages including pediatric patients.
Prepare patients for EEG procedures ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate EEG equipment and ensure the proper setup for accurate test results.
Monitor patients during EEG recordings ensuring the collection of high-quality data.
Maintain accurate patient records including test results and relevant medical history.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret EEG findings and ensure timely reporting.
Adhere to infection control safety and confidentiality policies and procedures.
Provide excellent patient care and education throughout the testing process.

Required Qualifications:

2 years of experience as an EEG Technician/Technologist.
Current R. EEG T (Registered EEG Technologist) certification required. If not R. EEG must have a significant EEG certification (e.g. CNIM or equivalent).
Pediatric EEG experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of EEG techniques troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask efficiently.
