This position job description for the position of Operations Coordinator based in our Northville office (on-site). The role provides cross-functional support to Operations Logistics Finance Sales and QA to keep daily workflows tight and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities to support business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and update data across our systems (POs shipments inventory vendor/customer details).
- Prepare routine reports and documentation (status variance KPI snapshots).
- Drive crisp cross-department communication and follow-ups.
- Assist with process improvements and SOP documentation to increase efficiency.
- Track inventory orders and shipments as needed; escalate exceptions.
Must-Haves:
- Strong proficiency with office software: Excel (lookups pivots) Word/Docs PowerPoint/Slides; comfort with shared drives and basic data hygiene.
- Clear written and verbal communication; quick on follow-through and details.
- 1 4 years in an operations/admin/coordination role (CPG manufacturing logistics or distribution preferred; internships count).
- Familiarity with order lifecycles basic inventory concepts and document handling.
- High integrity urgency and ability to juggle competing priorities independently.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Exposure to QuickBooks or an ERP/WMS.
- Basic reporting/KPI experience.
- Vendor or customer-facing coordination experience.
