Job Description
Now Hiring: Quality Manager PCB Manufacturing
Location: Addison IL (Relocation Assistance Available)
Compensation: $100000 $120000 annually Benefits Relocation
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to lead quality assurance and control functions within our Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep expertise in electronics/PCB production and a passion for driving compliance continuous improvement and a culture of quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO IPC and customer requirements
- Develop implement and monitor quality strategies policies and procedures for PCB manufacturing
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers inspectors and technicians
- Collaborate across production engineering and supply chain to ensure product quality throughout all manufacturing stages
- Conduct audits (internal/external) manage customer quality concerns RCA and CAPA
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies
- Partner with suppliers to maintain incoming material quality standards
- Report on quality metrics dashboards and KPIs for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or related field (Masters preferred)
- 9 years of progressive quality experience within PCB electronics or semiconductor industries
- 3 years in a leadership/director role
- Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes (fabrication assembly testing SMT reflow etc.)
- Expertise with ISO 9001 IPC standards and certifications
- Hands-on experience with FMEA PPAP 8D SPC and Lean/Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt a plus)
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to relocate to Addison IL (relocation package provided)
