Location: Addison IL (Relocation Assistance Available)
Compensation: $100000 $120000 annually Benefits Relocation
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to lead quality assurance and control functions within our Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep expertise in electronics/PCB production and a passion for driving compliance continuous improvement and a culture of quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO IPC and customer requirements
Develop implement and monitor quality strategies policies and procedures for PCB manufacturing
Manage and mentor a team of engineers inspectors and technicians
Collaborate across production engineering and supply chain to ensure product quality throughout all manufacturing stages
Conduct audits (internal/external) manage customer quality concerns RCA and CAPA
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies
Partner with suppliers to maintain incoming material quality standards
Report on quality metrics dashboards and KPIs for leadership

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or related field (Masters preferred)
9 years of progressive quality experience within PCB electronics or semiconductor industries
3 years in a leadership/director role
Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes (fabrication assembly testing SMT reflow etc.)
Expertise with ISO 9001 IPC standards and certifications
Hands-on experience with FMEA PPAP 8D SPC and Lean/Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt a plus)
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to relocate to Addison IL (relocation package provided)
