Business Data Analyst - Insurance Domain

Warren NJ / Remote (US)

Long Term Contract

Overview:

We are seeking a Insurance domain BA with Data projects experience
Experienced Insurance Domain Expert to lead data migration projects within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance industry data management principles and hands-on experience in executing successful data migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Expertise

Data Migration Leadership:

- Plan design and implement comprehensive data migration strategies to facilitate smooth transitions between systems.

- Oversee the entire data migration process including data extraction cleaning transformation and loading (ETL / ELT).

Collaboration and Communication

Risk Management:

- Identify potential data migration risks and develop mitigation strategies.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Training and Support

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the P&C insurance domain with a focus on data migration projects.
5 years experience with insurance products underwriting claims and regulatory requirements.
7 years experience in data migration tools and techniques with experience in ETL processes.
7 - 10 years experience as a consultant with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

Policy Administration

Handled quoting rating underwriting policy issuance endorsements renewals and cancellations.

Worked on Tools: Guidewire PolicyCenter Duck Creek

Billing Management

Managed the entire billing and collections cycle.

Integrations worked on : ERP systems financial reporting tools

Claims Management

Supported intake triage segmentation loss assessment and settlement.

Worked on Technologies: NLP OCR ML for fraud detection and predictive analytics

Worked on Tools: ClaimCenter RPA bots virtual chatbots
