The Healthtrax Fitness Center General Manager thrives working in a multi-faceted environment with a keen focus on people through customer service and talent management excellence with a bottom line approach to ensuring the continued success of the business. For over 40 years Healthtrax has been a leading provider of fitness programs and employer of choice with a commitment to providing safe clean and healthy facilities.
A bit about the work at hand:
- Establish your business plan with Vice President of Operations
- Business acumen and accuracy in budgeting forecasting expense revenue and payroll management
- Proven track record managing fitness sales department and/or Personal training sales department in large fitness center
- Skilled at talent management from recruiting to onboarding to training and peak performance retention
- Superior customer service excellence delivery and conflict resolution with clients staff and colleagues
- Keen eye to inspect fitness center for ongoing safety cleanliness and functionality of all equipment scheduling of Safe Starts and Healthy Start appointments with accuracy in health history records
- Effective at meeting deadlines and adapting schedule to meet ever changing operational demands
- Experience implementing annual marketing plan and upholding integrity of the brand
- Build and develop working relationships with local corporate accounts and community and civic groups
- Highly ambitious honest and results driven possessing tactful and impactful communications
- Personal conviction that embraces fitness as an integral part of the relationship between good health and a positive lifestyle
The ideal preparation for the work:
A Bachelors degree or its equivalent in Health & Fitness Exercise Science Business Management or related field preferred. 3 or more years of supervisory/personnel management including expertise in fitness membership sales leadership. Proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies business plans forecast and budgets with a clear understanding of the bottom-line approach to performance. CPR First Aid Certified. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based platforms.

Compensation: $60000.00 - $80000.00 per year
