Job Summary:
The key role of the Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineering Specialist is that of principal contributor on a design or CPPD team responsible for development of safety and compliance related aspects of a product process or both. This position contributes to Enterprise regulatory compliance teams develops solutions for complex technical engineering problems and may be accountable for the design or improvement of complex systems or processes.
Specific duties include understanding interpreting and participating in the development of various international standards engaging in advocacy efforts on regulatory policies conducting training for internal product system or component teams facilitating control system safety assessments and product safety risk assessments participating in design reviews and consulting with engineering design teams auditing hardware and software assessments and participating in projects to further improve efficiency of the work group.

Summary Pay Range:
$126000.00 - $189000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
