Role: Risk Graduate Analyst Programme 2026
Location: Dublin
Start Date: September 2026
This role is being offered as a 23-month contract
Our Risk Team
We are currently looking for candidates interested in a career in the Risk function of the bank. Our Risk Graduate Programme will have 2 dynamic streams that the Graduates will rotate within a few times. This will allow graduates to gain a breadth of experience across AIBs Risk Department.
The following are examples of areas that previous graduates have completed their rotations in:
Business Stream: Credit Risk Operational Risk Technology & Transformation Compliance & IRB
Courses aligned to these areas: Business Studies Finance Accounting Economics Commerce Management and related degree courses with a strong business and finance content.
Technical Stream: Risk Analytics Financial Risk Enterprise Risk and Second Line Assurance
Courses aligned to these areas: Mathematics Data Science/Analytics Science Computer Science Physics Quantitative Finance Engineering and related degree courses with a strong mathematical content.

Entry Requirements:
- Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme.
- Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 23-month contract (September 2026 August 2028).
Confirmation of these will be sought if successful for the role.
