Position Summary
TrueTimber Outdoors is a design distribution and sourcing company with over 100 employees located in Inman SC. The company specializes in apparel textiles marine components hydrographic film and outdoor recreational accessories. We are currently seeking an Order Fulfillment & Operations Manager. This roleis responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of all customer orders within the companys ERP system (NetSuite) and ensures that every order is processed accurately tracked diligently and fulfilled on time by coordinating with sales production and logistics teams. The individual will act as the central point of visibility for order statusproactively identifying delays monitoring inbound and outbound inventory and communicating updates to both internal stakeholders and customers.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires a mix of operational oversight system expertise and proactive communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Oversight & Tracking
- Monitor all customer orders in NetSuite from entry through fulfillment ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Track and investigate any orders at risk of delay providing root cause analysis (e.g. inbound inventory shortages production delays).
- Maintain a clear and proactive understanding of all backorders and prioritize fulfillment as soon as inventory arrives.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Utilize reporting and dashboards in Power BI and Excel to provide real-time visibility of order status backlog and fulfillment performance.
- Prepare regular updates for management on order trends fulfillment bottlenecks and key performance metrics.
- Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with sales production and logistics teams to obtain required details resolve order discrepancies and align priorities.
- Ensure customer-specific shipping requirements are consistently met by referencing proprietary systems and vendor compliance manuals.
- Act as a liaison with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.
- Communication & Issue Resolution
- Provide timely updates to the sales team and customers regarding order status delays or changes.
- Document and escalate issues as needed maintaining accurate notes and records in NetSuite.
- Serve as a point of contact for management regarding order-related questions and operational updates.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with advanced skills in Excel and experience with Power BI reporting.
- Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in order management operations supply chain or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated dependable and capable of working independently while being a strong team player.
