We are now in an exciting growth phase and we need YOU an engaged Senior Electrical Engineer who can design the future and contribute to innovative solutions in subsea cable systems!
Who are you
You have experience in high-voltage electrical engineering and a burning interest in subsea power systems. You work in a structured manner and are comfortable taking responsibility for technical calculations design and development of cable systems that can withstand natures toughest challenges. You are proactive have an analytical mind and love being part of a dynamic and innovative environment.
You are not just an engineer you are a problem solver who is passionate about participating in technological development and leading technical improvement processes. Together with your team you will help create the best solutions for the future!
Your key tasks:
- Design and technical calculations of subsea power systems both cable and accessories design.
- Development of technical documents and reports.
- Planning and execution of qualification programs for cable systems.
- Collaboration with various departments to prepare for and follow up on production and installation.
- Technical tender deliveries related to cable and accessories.
- Contribute to technical improvements and efficiencies for the department.
Are you our new team player
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a bachelors degree or higher in high-voltage electrical engineering/system technology.
- Has 37 years of experience in high-voltage technology. Experience with high-voltage cables either land- or subsea-based is a significant advantage.
- Is a curious innovator who takes on challenges head-on.
- Works well in a team but also independently and knows how to get things done!
- Communicates fluently in English both orally and in writing (Norwegian is a plus).
