This is a Hybrid position located in Arlington VA.
The person in this role will maintain the Endpoint (laptops workstations virtual workstations tablets and smartphones) ecosystem workstation operating systems enterprise applications remote device environment and supporting backend servers to achieve an optimum endpoint platform which enables NRECA associates to work efficiently. They will assist with the selection and roll-out of endpoint solutions that work with infrastructure tools to protect the enterprise. They will be expected to analyze diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software problems while serving as a Tier 3 service desk support engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains the workstation operating systems desktop enterprise applications remote device environment virtual machines and backend servers to achieve an integrated endpoint ecosystem.
Assists with endpoint solutions that work with infrastructure and security tools to protect the enterprise.
Provides support on audio-visual and multimedia projects.
Analyzes diagnoses and resolves complex hardware and software problems.
Configures and maintains mobile device equipment.
Supports the NRECA Operations Center which monitors the entire NRECA production environment.
Increases knowledge of digital information and operational technologies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Formal Education Required: Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related technical discipline or 5 years technical experience supporting a desktop computing environment.
Four plus years of experience with the implementation and support of computer hardware and software configurations.
Computing Technology Industry Association A Certification (CompTIA A) or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred.
Experience in Windows operating systems 10 and 11 Apple iOS operating system and LANDesk Service Desk necessary.
Experience with workstation hardware and software installations and large-scale rollouts required.
