SUMMARY: The Network Senior Engineer is responsible for engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with areas within the telecommunications function (e.g. network design engineering implementation diagnostics or operations/user support). This position will monitor the operation of telecom network systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with areas within the telecommunications function (e.g. network design engineering implementation diagnostics or operations/user support).
Monitor the operation of telecom network systems.
Perform complex tasks relating to telecom network operations installation and/or maintenance for local off-site and/or remote locations.
The scope of responsibility for this position includes but is not limited to the configuration deployment testing and maintenance monitoring and troubleshooting of telecommunications network components to provide a secure high performance network.
Test transmission mediums and infrastructure components.
Serve as technical specialist/lead on a functional basis for the resolution of complex network problems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field AND 5 years of IT experience in telecommunications and multi-platform environments
