Job Summary
The Verification Pharmacist will be responsible for but not limited to being an integral part of our team; collaborating closely with all departments to ensure the safe accurate and efficient dispensing of compounded medications across the country. Were growing fast and you will play a key role with regard to high volume dispensing customer service and helping us continue to improve in every way every day.
Key Responsibilities
High volume verification of compounded sterile & non-sterile prescriptions.
High-level customer service with a business & sales/marketing mindset.
Ensuring efficient and accurate dispensing & customer service.
Collaborating with team members in all departments.
Ensuring all regulatory laws/requirements are followed/met/satisfied.
Qualifications
Education: An active pharmacist license in good standing from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Experience: Minimum one year experience in a high volume pharmacy setting.
Skills: Proficient in interpreting & filling patient-specific provider orders. Excellent with problem-solving communication teamwork efficiency & accuracy.
Certification Requirement: Pharmacist License.
Preferred
Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to communicate effectively in person over the phone or via virtual meeting
Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels
Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms such as typing.
