Boeing Distribution Inc.Boeing Global Services Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for an Lead Contract Pricing Analyst (Level 4) for Duluth GA; Ellwood GA; or Warner Robins GA location.
This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity.
The Lead Contracts Pricing Analyst serves as a subject matter expert supporting activities in the Contract Pricing department responsible for inputting and monitoring factors that impact customer sell price. The Analyst will be responsible for data input and analyses and for communicating the findings as needed. Coordinates the information exchange across multiple functions which establish pricing based on sales and customer specifications and has a heavy influence on the move forward strategy. Prepares pricing models for executive approval consideration along with details on market competitiveness and final value proposals for sales to deliver to the customer. Plays a key role in the change management approach of transitioning teams and the organization using current methods that can re-direct an existing business practice and/or process. Directly leads in the development training and implementation of pricing strategies and policies through analytical and reporting tools. Acts as a pricing lead for cross functional projects and will travel as needed to customer sites for negotiations.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides recommendations of line item pricing (from five to tens of thousands of items with value ranging from $100000 - $500 M Annually) and recommend changes with Product Gross Margin (PGM) based on review of product mix inventory impact and sales recommendations
Analyze sources to develop pricing strategies that balance both market conditions and sales expectations while Aligning with sales leadership and other cross functional departments on goals objectives deadlines and pricing proposal impact
Create baseline profitability models to present to executives for review and consideration
Lead in guidance of the analytical development of winning bid strategies and create tailored customer responses in all design and appropriate formatting
Develops Tool that help perform profitability analyses including forecasts projections and historical impact assessments
Performs profitability analyses including forecasts projections and historical impact assessments
Coordinate project management across multiple functions such as Supply Chain Legal Quality etc.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
6 years of related work experience
1 years of supervisor experience
Advanced Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel skills SQL or Tableau
Ability to manipulate large amounts of computer data
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Education:Bachelors Business Administration or related field of study
Experience in working with ERP system SAP
Basic project management skills
