Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Master the setup and calibration of the edgebander precisely adjusting feed speeds cutter heads and pressure settings to meet exact job specifications.
- Conduct continuous in-process quality control meticulously inspecting finished products for perfect edge alignment adhesion and overall finish.
- Take ownership of machine performance by conducting routine preventative maintenance and proactively troubleshooting operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Drive production goals by working efficiently and independently optimizing machine settings and workflows to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Uphold the highest safety standards by rigorously following all company protocols including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Inspect and prepare all raw materials ensuring components meet strict quality and dimensional standards before the edgebanding process begins.
PREREQUISITES:
- 2 years experience working on an Edgebander or similar machine.
- 2 years experience in manufacturing.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize work activities based upon primary duties.
- Is inquisitive by nature and driven by the pursuit of excellence to consistently ensure constant growth and achievement.
- Demonstrates good initiative working safely reporting and participating in Environmental Health and Safety.
