Roles and Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Documentation: Provide expert-level support to GEA personnel dealers and customers on hygiene products (CIP detergents acids sanitizers; udder care; facility hygiene; water quality; specialty products). Handle inquiries via phone/email log complaints process credit/warranty requests and supply documentation (SDS samples labels).
- Training & Communication: Assist in developing and delivering trainings presentations and bulletins. Act as liaison between sales specialists dealers and internal hygiene teams (R&D QA Production). Provide feedback and share product information and updates.
- Field & Industry Engagement: Offer on-site farm/dealer support when needed promote chemical safety attend trade shows and industry meetings and stay current on regulatory/industry guidelines (e.g. FDA organic GEA AMS).
- Product & Process Oversight: Document new product requests product issues or flaws; maintain competitive intelligence database; manage and organize samples (complaints water verification); coordinate test kit ordering updates and related materials.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Participate in meetings with hygiene partners ensure accurate reporting and process reviews and keep relevant stakeholders informed.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in agricultural production systems with strong knowledge of dairy hygiene chemicals and best practices.
- Skilled in collaboration situational problem-solving and developing quick action plans.
- Strong training teaching and technical presentation abilities.
- Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible able to travel up to 30%.
- Degree in technical chemical or agricultural field preferred; equivalent dairy technical experience accepted.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $65000 - $75000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors including skill set experience location qualifications and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
