Job Summary
Join a world-leading marine technology company dedicated to sustainable ocean resource management. As a Software Engineer in ourEchoSounderTeam you will developcutting-edgeapplications for Ocean Science Fishery and Mapping sectors. Your work will directly support global stock estimation and sustainable harvesting through advanced hydroacoustic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop andmaintainsoftware interfacing with proprietary hydroacoustic sensorswith implementation of complex high-performance algorithms.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
Participate in agile development testing and integrationboth in lab environments and aboard vessels.
Work with global software teams to build reusable modules for high-performance applications.
Qualifications:
BachelorsorMastersdegree in Computer Science/Appliedmathematics/Related technical field OR similar professional experience within this field.
ProficiencyinmodernC#/Candmulti-threaded programming.
Experiencewithoneor moreofthefollowingtechnologies/toolsisadvantageous: LinuxCmakeGPUprocessing.
Proficiencywith modern software engineeringmethodologypatternsand tools.
Experience in software testing and verification.
Goodlanguage skills in bothNorwegian and English.
Beneficialwith knowledge of or experience with hydroacoustic sensors.
Experience with gamechanger technologies (AI cloud 3D) is a plus.
Experience or interest in agile development methodologies is a plus.
