Operations Manager The Hague Marriott Hotel
Are you an experienced hospitality professional who thrives on leading teams in a dynamic environment The Hague Marriott Hotel is looking for an Operations Manager to guide our department heads and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

About the Role
As Operations Manager you are responsible for overseeing the hotels daily operations. You ensure quality service and efficiency across all operational departmentsfrom Food & Beverage to Rooms. Acting as the link between teams and senior management you make sure all departments work seamlessly together.
Your key responsibilities include:
Managing day-to-day hotel operations and acting as the General Managers deputy during their absence.
Leading and developing department heads including the Executive Chef F&B Manager Front Office Manager and Executive Housekeeper.
Achieving targets in guest satisfaction revenue and cost control.
Collaborating closely with HR Finance and Sales & Events to seize new opportunities and continuously improve existing processes.
Being a visible leader on the floor ensuring service and product quality meet the highest standards.
Overseeing correct use of Marriott systems and ensuring accurate reporting.
Embedding Marriott Brand Standards into daily operations.
Driving high service and product standards together with your team.
Maintaining measurable excellence in guest satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities
Lead the department heads of Food & Beverage Kitchen Front Office and Housekeeping.
Safeguard quality service and guest satisfaction across all operational areas.
Manage budgets and costs ensuring revenue and operational goals are met.
Streamline cross-departmental collaboration to maximize guest satisfaction.
Develop coach and motivate managers and their teams.
Contribute actively to strategic planning and achieving operational objectives.
Monitor processes and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Analyze performance and report results to the General Manager.
Be visibly present on the floor to observe and improve processes and service delivery.
Initiate improvement projects and innovation within operational departments.
Maintain flexible working hours to be present during key service moments.

What You Bring
A Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of management experience at department head level in a hotel (e.g. Rooms Division Manager F&B Manager or Front Office Manager).
Strong leadership skills with a track record in coaching and developing managers.
Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
Analytical decisive and solution-oriented.
Flexible hands-on and fully guest-focused.
