The Opportunity
Postman is a leading technology company dedicated to simplifying and streamlining the development and testing of APIs. We are looking for a talented and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team in the Bangalore. If you are passionate about cloud technologies particularly Kubernetes ArgoCD Helm and Crossplane and thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment we invite you to be a part of Postmans journey.
What Youll Do
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design implement and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on major cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Ensure the high availability performance and reliability of Postmans cloud services.
Kubernetes Orchestration:
- Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate and automate the deployment scaling and management of containerized applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Kubernetes configurations for diverse workloads.
ArgoCD and Helm Expertise:
- Leverage ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery of applications.
- Utilize Helm for packaging versioning and deploying applications.
Crossplane Integration:
- Implement and extend Crossplane for managing cloud infrastructure resources in a multi-cloud environment.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration with Postmans architecture.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation and Helm charts.
- Maintain version-controlled infrastructure code for repeatability and scalability.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions for cloud-based applications.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to enhance observability and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations and procedures.
About You
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Expertise in Kubernetes ArgoCD Helm and Crossplane.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecture.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana Stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

At Postman we embrace a hybrid work model. For all roles based out of San Francisco Bay Area Boston Bangalore Hyderabad and New York employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.
