Description

Looking for Cloud Technology Enthusiast who love solving business problems usingtechnology. Candidate should have excellent experience on Sales Engineering with diversecustomer and partner facing roles supported technical aspects of sales activities for thetechnology products and services such as CloudPaaS & IaaS Databases & tools andSystems.

Detailed KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Provide Oracle Tech presales support in sales cycles by analyzing customer requirements and proposing the appropriate solutions on Oracle technologies.

Support sales reps in identifying upselling and closing sales opportunities and achieving quarterly revenue budgets

Formulate and lead the cloud solutioning engagement with potential and existing customers.

Help customer organizations on standard methodologies around building cloud-based applications.

Provide sizing and capacity estimation; assist in developing cost benefit cases.

Implement a strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Support sales opportunities for Oracle Tech solutions by creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations for prospects.

Ability to develop and nurture relationships with key customers.

Learn and maintain in depth knowledge of Oracles Database and Public Cloud solutions and its competitors and transfer such knowledge to other team members Business Development reps and Sales Reps.

25% travel expected.

Responsibilities

Detailed EXPERIENCE

Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

Between 8 and 15 years of relevant IT experience

Hands On experience with IAAS or PAAS like OCI/AWS/AZURE

Pre-sales or Sales Engineering experience is a must

Hands On experiences withMicroservices / serverless / DevOPs exposure Containers / Kubernetes Configuration management tools such as Terraform Chef Puppet or Jenkins and other Cloud native technologiesis an advantage

Strong communication presentations and white boarding skills

Competitive Cloud software product background and knowledge is highly regarded

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Cloud architecture / solution such as AWS or Azure or GCP or OCI.

Cloud solution / Design concepts BCP/DR solutions On-Prem to Cloud Migration framework and concepts.

Exposure to Database Technologies Open-Source Databases Oracle MySQL MS SQL NoSQL etc.

Exposure to Analytics and Warehousing solution like Tableau Qlik Snowflake Oracle Analytics.

Very Strong Virtualization and exposure to Networking fundamentals for cloud like VPN Zoning and Firewalls.

Cloud Security fundamentals.

Strong understanding of Application Layer Integration technologies such as SOA RESTful APIs etc. as well as Data Layer integration.

Strong exposure to PAAS solutions like Database Cloud Java Cloud Application Development SDKs CLIs Mobile Cloud Data warehousing BigData etc. Exposure to technologies like IOT / AI / ML / Data Science will be preferred.

Cloud Certification on AWS/AZURE/OCI will have an advantage.

Exposure to SaaS technologies like Salesforce Oracle Saas / Ebusiness suite Workday etc
