We are looking for a highly skilled DB2 Senior Administrator to join our team. The role is responsible for managing configuring and supporting DB2 database environments ensuring stability availability and performance. The administrator will work closely with customers to implement new databases maintain existing systems and provide expertise in high availability backup and recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration maintenance and optimization of DB2 databases in production and non-production environments

• Implementation and management of HADR (High Availability Disaster Recovery) solutions

• Backup and recovery administration using TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager)

• Cluster and failover management using TSA (Tivoli System Automation)

• Installation patching and application of fix packs for DB2 environments

• Monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues proactively

• Supporting customers with technical incidents and service requests

• Planning installing and configuring new DB2 databases and instances

• Ensuring compliance with security and audit standards

• Preparing and maintaining documentation for database procedures configurations and changes

WE expect you to have:

• Proven hands-on experience as a DB2 Database Administrator (ideally 4 years)

• Knowledge of DB2 database architecture configuration and performance tuning

• Expertise with HADR TSM and TSA solutions in DB2 environments

• Experience with patching fix pack installations and upgrades of DB2 systems

• Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies

• Solid knowledge of SQL scripting and automation (Shell Perl or Python)

• Experience working in enterprise environments with high availability requirements

• Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident change problem management)
