JobSummary:
Medi-Plex Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to providenursing care to the terminally ill Hospice patients a needed. This positionwill provide assistance and understanding to the family in the home caresituation and in time of bereavement. The Registered Nurse will work as amember of the Hospice team in providing Hospice team in providing Hospice care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school ofnursing
Currently licensed as a registerednurse to practice in the state
Ability to work independently makeaccurate and at times quick judgments.
Ability to supervise othersappropriately Ability to respond appropriately to crisis outside of a hospitalsetting.
Acceptance of and adaptability todifferent social racial cultural and religious modes.
Completed Hospice training program.
2 years of experience as aregistered nurse
Active patient contact within pastthree years

Access screens triage and performtreatment ordered for patients
Perform medical treatment as orderedby Physician
Prepare and dispense prescribedmedications
Assist with examinations proceduresand other duties
Oversee and coordinate the dailypatient care
Assist patients as needed withwalking transfer specimen collection exam preparation etc.
Complete EMR documentation and/orpaper-based documentation
Other duties as assigned such as newmodels of care and new types of procedures etc.
