Job Description
The Department of Management at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure track position in Sport Management. The home campus for this position is Bloomsburg with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. About the Department: The mission of the Department of Management is to provide state-of-the-art education in management international business supply chain management sport management and related fields of study by emphasizing exemplary student-centered teaching and advising innovative curriculum development engagement opportunities and relevant collaborative scholarship. For more information visit the Colleges website at will include teaching sport management-related classes at the undergraduate/graduate level advising research and service activities. Instructional delivery can occur through traditional online and alternative instructional methods on-campus or at off-site educational locations. Summer and winter contracts may be available and are optional for faculty members. Advisement of student organizations is expected. The successful candidate will need to complete distance education training programs as made available by the University within two years of hire for the purpose of teaching in a multi-campus environment with remote teaching needs.
