Reliability Maintainability & System Health (RM&SH) Engineer Experienced or Lead Level

The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Mid-Level Reliability Maintainability & System Health (RM&SH) Engineer for the Space Launch System (SLS) program in either Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) Louisiana or Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Florida.

At Boeing our engineers use their expertise to create innovative next generation capabilities for a wide variety of amazing aerospace platforms and products. As a member of RM&SH you will support the design manufacture test and/or sustainment of state-of-the-art joining this team you will be part of an outstanding group of engineers and analysts making history in the aerospace industry.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risk of system failure and support proposed changes in design using National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) methodology.

  • Review supplier submittals from a RM&SH perspective.

  • Mentor early career engineers and analysts.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) computer science engineering data science mathematics physics or chemistry

  • Experienced Level 3: Typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

  • Lead Level 4: Typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

  • Some SLS program experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to obtain NASA badge/access

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Masters degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Shift:

This is a 1st shift position.

Summary pay range Experienced Level 3: $97750 - $ 132250

Summary pay range Lead level 4: $ 119850 - $162150
