This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management worker to join our team here in Cumbria. Working to support our older customers (aged 55) in Cumbria youll be the go-to person for housing and property matters ensuring homes are safe tenancies are well managed and customers feel engaged and supported. Providing a housing management service youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts.

What youll do

• Support older residents many of whom receive care from Lakeland Carers the on-site team.

• Assist customers with housing benefit claims and rent account management.

• Maintain full occupancy and accurate rent records.

• Conduct routine safety and compliance checks across buildings and communities.

• Handle administrative tasks including record updates work orders and payment processing.

• Collaborate with the care team to promote social engagement and purposeful living.

You have

• A people-first mindset and ideally some experience in property management compliance or health & safety.

The practical bits

• We can be a bit flexible around what hours your work (or were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)

• Able to use technology for creating and updating Health and Safety records making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups

• Occasionally you will need to cover other schemes or attend team meetings youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

• Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
