Communications & Graphic Design Associate

MELE Associates Inc. (MELE) is seeking a highly motivated Communications & Graphic Design Associate to join our team. This individual will provide creative communications support while also delivering professional design and branding support to multiple clients. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a creative eye for design and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear visually compelling products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist with corporate communications and marketing initiatives ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
• Develop internal and external communications content (presentations newsletters digital campaigns etc.).
• Support events announcements and outreach with design-ready communications materials.
• Provide high-quality communications and design support including:
• Brochures and fact sheets.
• Office branding materials.
• Newsletters and templates for recurring program communications.
• Reports presentations and infographics that communicate technical or programmatic information in a clear visually appealing manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Communications or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience producing professional communications and design products.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign Illustrator Photoshop).
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.

Location: This is a full-time hybrid position in Washington DC 20024 USA

Salary: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data internal equity and the candidates related knowledge skills and abilities for the position.
