Description of Work
This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporaries are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.

This temporary position is located in Bunn - Franklin County.
The LPN will have flexible scheduled hours between 16-40 hours per week. The LPN may be appointed in the areas of most need by assessed skill set. The nurse practices in an outpatient clinic setting in collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues and the department nurse/unit manager. The primary responsibilities of this Licensed Practical Nurse may vary by assignment. Those duties may include but are not limited to:
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $40.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Adult Correction. This position is located at 5918 39 Hwy S Bunn NC 27508.
Conducting monitoring with the ability to communicate appropriate concerns regarding patients condition to members of the health care team
Follow standardized nursing protocols to implement a treatment plan.
Perform psycho-social monitoring of health care needs and care of specific patients
Administer medications according to physicians orders
Provide wound care and other treatment modalities to promote healing
Perform other duties as assigned based on assignment in nursing specialty area.Knowledge Skills and Abilities / Competencies
