This position operates under the general supervision of the Trades Shop Supervisor and is responsible for performing skilled plumbing work across campus facilities. The role includes the maintenance repair installation and modification of plumbing systems such as water lines sewer systems water heaters softeners and restroom fixtures.

Substitution: Successful completion of a formalized plumbing apprenticeship program or higher level non-correspondence coursework in the same fields from an accredited vocational school or university may substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $4906 - $5690 per month. This position is eligible for overtime compensation. The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If you have prior state-classified service in the same class series as this position your pay may be set at a higher amount per the state Step Pay Program implemented on July 1 2024.
