Job Qualifications:
- An umbilical Engineer will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Civil or Structural or Subsea Engineering from University. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.
- Min 10 years working experience in area production facility (subsea) in umbilical engineering construction and Installation the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
- Considerable experience of relevant Umbilical design or installation experience.
- Familiarity with and experience of applying Umbilical codes and relevant standards of practice.
- Experience in use of FE software such as Orcaflex Abaqus and Ansys
- Experience of relative design methodologies construction activities installation activities and associated analysis
