Provide music therapy services for students receiving special education services. Partner with teachers related service providers and families to deliver therapy aligned to IEP goals while building staff capacity through coaching and professional development.
Plan and deliver individual and group music therapy sessions aligned to IEP goals.
Conduct evaluations to determine initiation/continuation of services; document progress toward objectives.
Collaborate with teachers campus teams and families; provide on-site assistance and staff PD related to music therapy.
Maintain accurate records and reports; use standard office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office/Google Workspace) for documentation.
Perform other campus-based duties as assigned.
MT-BC (Music Therapy Board Certification) required.
Bachelors degree in Music Therapy required.
13 years of relevant experience preferred (school-based experience a plus).
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to travel between campuses as needed.
Proficiency with documentation and basic productivity software.
Experience working with students with disabilities and IEP teams.
Experience designing and delivering staff trainings/PD.
Familiarity with data collection for progress monitoring.
