Catering Operations Coordinator

Location: Chick-fil-A Liberty

Compensation: Competitive pay commensurate with experience

Schedule: 40 hours per week flexible with early mornings occasional evenings and seasonal event peaks. Sundays are always off.

The Catering Operations Coordinator is a key leadership role responsible for executing our high-volume catering operations with excellence. This leader ensures every order is prepared to standard packed with care and delivered on time with exceptional hospitality. Were seeking a seasoned restaurant professional who thrives in fast-paced environments can plan ahead and takes ownership of one of the most important growth areas in our to detail and the ability to stay cool under pressure are critical to the success of this position.


Responsibilities

Oversee the planning production and delivery of all catering orders.

Ensure catering orders are assembled with accuracy quality and Chick-fil-A presentation standards.

Review catering orders in the system for the coming week and communicates about and coordinates large catering orders that will need additional items and staffing.

Communicate proactively with leadership and Back of House to ensure food is produced on time in correct amounts and within food cost expectations.

Coordinate the production of the catering orders that will be picked up or delivered during the current business day.

Deliver catering orders or schedules delivery drivers for all deliveries that need to be made throughout the day.

Act as point of contact with catering customers while in the restaurant.

Communicate daily with shift-level leaders about upcoming catering needs.

Coordinate delivery logistics: identify delivery needs in advance schedule drivers and deliver orders when needed.

Uphold standards for delivery setup and on-site presentation.

Manage and schedule Delivery Driver Program participants

Serve as primary point of contact for catering customers in-restaurant.

Manage ezCater platform orders and communication to maintain Chick-fil-As Reliability Rockstar status.

Step into restaurant operations (FOH or BOH) to provide capacity when catering responsibilities allow.

CFA LIBERTY

Partner with the Truck & Inventory Manager to verify production needs for large upcoming catering orders.

Monitor and manage catering food cost portioning and waste.

This is NOT a sales role. This position will spend the bulk of their time organizing and assembling catering orders.


What Were Looking For

35 years of experience in high-volume catering or restaurant operations.

Proven leadership in organizing and executing off-site or large-scale food service.

Strong skills in planning organization and operational discipline.

Clear communicator who works cross-functionally and proactively.

Hospitality-focused and committed to delivering excellent guest experiences.

Ownership mentality takes responsibility for results and leads with initiative.

Flexible and dependable with ability to adapt during peak or seasonal demand.

ServSafe Manager certification preferred.

Must be at least 21 years old with valid drivers license clean driving record and ability to pass E-Verify.

Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. stand for extended periods and carry trays/boxes during deliveries.
