The department
Model Risk Management (MoRM) in a nutshell: Models are an imperfect reflection of reality. Models impact our business and we use models for decision making throughout ING. We need to manage uncertainties and shortcomings in our models as there are risks involved. Are we sure that the output leads to the right decision Models are a great asset but come with a risk that needs to be managed. The purpose of the department is to ensure these models can add business value safely.
With ever increasing use of models and Generative AI expected to accelerate this increase the need for mature model risk management will only become more important.
Role and responsibilities
In your role as Personal Assistant you will support the Global Head Model Risk Management and one MBB-2 Lead to ensure they can focus on their core responsibilities and increase their effectiveness. You will have a close working relation with the department Business Manager and cooperate with the other personal assistant covering each other during absences to ensure that the Head of MoRM (priority) and the Leadership Team always are supported.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Diary Outlook Management & Communication
Coordinate organize and schedule meetings while managing the agenda effectively. Evaluate the priority sensitivity and objectives of each appointment. Monitor reminders for appointments and ensure timely follow-up on action items. Manage the inbox by prioritizing emails responding promptly and ensuring that important messages are addressed in a timely manner. Additionally serve as the primary point of contact and maintain both internal and external professional relationships.
Operations & Coordination
Deliver comprehensive support for business travel meetings media engagements conferences seminars receptions and anniversaries. Oversee budget expenditures related to events and hospitality. Communicate directives from the Head of Department and ensure their effective execution and follow-up.
Administration
Operate a range of administrative systems for example Sayso Sherpany Workday One Identity Ibuy and E-profit in accordance with existing compliance rules. Collect record and archive all relevant documents in (electronic) files. Distribute information in an appropriate and timely manner.
Meeting Management
If needed prepare share take minutes and manage tribe meetings.
How to succeed:
We are seeking someone who can independently and proactively manage tasks. When assigned a task you should ensure it is followed up on 100% or seek help if needed but never leave it open-ended. The ideal person excels in prioritising tasks and multitasking as a Personal Assistant (PA) often has multiple tasks running simultaneously. Clear and concise communication is essential as is an eye for detail and diligence in task execution. Additionally building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and stakeholders both within and outside the organisation is crucial for the effectiveness of a PA.
