Mission Technologies a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of LMON Field Service Engineer for their Advanced Modeling and Simulation Technical Operation. The LMON Field Service Engineer is responsible for assisting in the installation of LMON equipment at host sites throughout the United States and selected international locations according to pre-determined configurations and plans. The LMON Field Service Engineer will be required to interpret installation design plans (CAD drawings) and implement the installation according to those plans making local modifications where required appropriate and directed by the Team Leader. Additionally the LMON Field Service Engineer will ensure that LMON Installations are completed in a timely consistent high quality and professional manner. This is a hands-on position; the field service engineer is expected to work alongside the installation team leader to complete all tasking on time and to take a primary role in terminating fiber optic Ethernet and RF cables. The LMON Field Service Engineer must ensure that all installations are completed in accordance with relevant USAF instructions and security directives.
