This position performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and tasks required to ensure the assigned area(s) run smoothly and provides for the physical and psychological needs of patient during examination. Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
- ARRT Certification in Radiology required. Current and valid Montana State license in Radiological Technology required.
- Current BLS CPR certification required.
- Possess knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of equipment supplies and instruments used in a medical office preferred

Job Specific Duties:
- Performs and documents assessment of the patient utilizing available information and incorporating the patients perception of illness/condition.
- Assists provider with examinations and procedures as directed and in accordance with established scope of practice as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Maintains an understanding of current exam protocols as applicable to assigned area(s). Works in collaboration with the radiology department to ensure the most up to date protocols are followed.
- Accurately and efficiently transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments. Consistently problem solves issues affecting patient care.
- Follows current exam protocols to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Maintains accountability to technologist competency/quality control standards. Reviews QA report and takes appropriate action as indicated.
- Assists with maintaining and coordinating repairs and services as needed. Monitors equipment for malfunction and alerts leadership per department procedures and protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
