Support classroom instruction and student success under the direction of a certified teacher. Youll provide small-group and 1:1 support help implement behavior and academic plans assist with special education data/IEP tasks and keep the classroom running smoothlyso every student has what they need to learn and thrive.
Provide small-group/1:1 academic support; reinforce lessons accommodations and behavior goals.
Help with classroom management and supervision (arrival/dismissal lunch recess transitions events).
Assist with special education tasks: data collection IEP/ARD preparation progress monitoring accommodations.
Support testing/assessments (setup proctoring accommodations as directed).
Prepare learning materials organize supplies and maintain a safe inclusive learning environment.
Communicate promptly and professionally with teachers students and families as appropriate.
Use basic technology (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office district platforms) for documentation and communication.
Perform other campus-based duties as assigned.
Educational Aide Certificate (Texas SBEC) or eligibility to obtain (district timelines apply).
Meet one ESSA standard: 48 college hours Associates degree or higher or passing an approved local academic assessment.
Strong communication patience and a student-first mindset.
Ability to follow teacher plans maintain confidentiality (FERPA) and work on a team.
Reliable organized and comfortable supporting diverse learners.
Experience in K-12 settings (general or special education).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
CPI/Nonviolent Crisis Intervention CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
Familiarity with IEP documentation and data tracking.
