Meeting Street is currently looking for a Music Teacher for 40 per week.
Duties:
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of child growth and development effective instructional strategies classroom management learning assessment and diagnosis and research related to learning.
- Provides individual and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of the students in inclusive and non-inclusive classrooms.
- Plans a balanced music program and organizes daily class time so that preparation rehearsal and instruction can be accomplished within the allotted time.
- Provides a variety of learning experiences so that students demonstrate skills and concepts learned through individual and group performance.
- Provides a nurturing supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages student responsibility using positive motivation clear classroom routines challenging instructional strategies and effective classroom management techniques.
- Develops opportunities to showcase student work and plans rehearses and directs students in musical programs for school and community.
