  • Address:Ipswich Suffolk IP3 9AD
  • Salary:25397 per annum

  • Hours:35 hours over 5 days per week

  • Contract:Permanent. Required as soon as possible

Welfare Worker - Ipswich Based.

Working at our busy refuge you will be passionate about supporting women and children who have fled domestic abuse.

You will have excellent communication and listening skills alongside a desire to empower women to rebuild their confidence and resilience.

As a valued member of our team you will support women in recognising and understanding the abuse they have experienced while offering practical guidance to help them take their next steps. This includes assistance with accessing benefits securing housing navigating healthcare and supporting their children.

Knowledge of Microsoft office programs with experience in word outlook excelspreadsheets and databases is essential.

Lighthouse Womens Aid is a Charitable organisation based in Suffolk UK. Our mission is to support and empower women young people and children affected by domestic abuse or violence.
