Clinical Coordinator ANUM Urgent Care Centre

Fixed Term Part-Time (32 hours per fortnight) until January 2026

Location: Yarrawonga Victoria

Yarrawonga Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Coordinator ANUM to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy Urgent Care Centre.

This part-time fixed-term opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with emergency/urgent care experience who is ready to step into a leadership role in a supportive and community-focused rural health service.

About the Role

As the Clinical Coordinator ANUM you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care in our Urgent Care Centre. With approximately 5000 presentations annually our Urgent Care Centre serves a diverse patient population and offers a dynamic fast-paced work environment.

You will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight while working closely with the Acute Nurse Unit Manager Executive Team After-Hours Coordinators and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Urgent Care Centre
  • Maintain and promote contemporary patient-focused clinical standards
  • Monitor patient care delivery documentation and safety
  • Supervise and support staff students and junior nurses
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Support staff development and a culture of professional growth

What Youll Bring

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an Emergency/Urgent Care setting
  • Proven leadership and clinical supervision experience
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing
  • Experience in rural health settings
  • Financial or budget management experience
  • Demonstrated innovation in program and service delivery
