Overview:

As a Senior Systems Engineer be responsible for all activities related to BODS and BoBJ

Responsibilities:

SAP BODS:

• Design and develop ETL jobs using SAP BODS to extract transform and load data from various sources (SAP HANA Oracle SQL Server etc.)

• Implement delta loads data cleansing and transformation logic

• Optimize dataflows for performance and scalability

• Integrate with cloud platforms (e.g. Snowflake Azure AWS) as needed

• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs and resolve data quality issues

• Proactively analyze existing ETL designs to identify inefficiencies or faulty logic and recommend improvements.

• Ensure high performance and reliability of dataflows through tuning and optimization techniques.

SAP BOBJ:

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence Analysis for Office and Analysis Edition for OLAP

• Create and manage Universes using Information Design Tool (IDT)

• Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports

• Collaborate with business analysts data architects and other IT/Business teams

• Document technical specifications data mappings and job schedules

• Participate in code reviews and performance tuning

• Provide support for production issues and enhancements

Requirements:

• Must have bachelors or equivalent degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience

• SAP BODS 4.x / BOBJ 4.x

• SQL/Python

• Experienced in using ABAP flows from ERP/S4

• Experienced in working with SAP BW/HANA data models

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

• SAP BW on HANA

• SAC

• Tableau

• Snowflake
