Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- You design implement and maintain automated test suites (primarily in Python)
- You collaborate closely with developers DevOps and Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and test plans from the design phase
- You participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality from the earliest stages of development
- You integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitOps and Azure DevOps
- You work with observability and debugging tools in distributed environments (Kubernetes NATS)
- You perform functional integration regression and performance testing
- You monitor and improve test coverage in a microservices environment
- You validate communication between microservices via NATS and other messaging mechanisms
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurence processes and quality culture within the team
- You ensure defect traceability and collaborate in their resolution
- You promote quality assurence best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Your profile
Experience: Over three years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in modern development processes and cloud-based environments
Technical Knowledge: extensive background in test automation using Python solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed testing hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps) familiarity with containers and orchestrators like Docker and Kubernetes knowledge of messaging systems such as NATS (or similar: Kafka RabbitMQ)
Personality and working style: Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
Language Skills: Excellent English skills both written and spoken
