Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and finance with proven experience in the manufacturing industry and advanced proficiency in QuickBooks. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide financial leadership ensure compliance and support business growth through sound financial practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all accounting and finance functions including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
- Develop and maintain accurate financial reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Lead budgeting forecasting and cash flow management processes to support operational and strategic planning.
- Monitor manufacturing costs inventory valuation and margin analysis to drive profitability.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making.
- Manage audits tax filings and external financial relationships (banks auditors etc.).
- Optimize and maintain QuickBooks systems for efficient and accurate reporting.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff ensuring accuracy and professional development.
$90000 - $115000 a year
