Job Summary

This is a 6 month contract position with potential to convert to full time after 6 months

Salary: $60-70/hour

This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite 2 days remote)

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the companys accounting operations and ensure accurate timely and compliant financial reporting. This role will oversee the monthly close revenue recognition and internal controls while partnering closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Own and manage the monthly quarterly and annual close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Oversee general ledger journal entries account reconciliations and financial statement preparation
Oversee SaaS revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 including subscriptions usage-based revenue renewals upgrades and cancellations
Oversee chart of accounts revenue recognition modules workflows and integrations (e.g. Salesforce billing platforms)
Lead NetSuite enhancements automation initiatives and system optimizations to support growth and scalability
Lead mentor and develop the accounting team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Establish clear policies procedures and internal controls
Prepare and review internal and external financial reporting packages

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
5 years accounting experience
NetSuite experience
Revenue accounting experience

$60 - $70 an hour
