Overview

Responsibilities

The STATCare Corporate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) will provide telemedicine care to our facilities across the US as well as assist on transitions and cover vacations/vacancies at the facilities as needed.

  • Participate in a collaborative approach of patient management to provide the resolutions of diagnostic and therapeutic problems and the implementation of effective solutions.
  • Build productive working relationships with supervisors security staff healthcare staff patients vendors and clients. Establish and maintain professional relationships where you will be viewed by others as trusted and respectful.
  • Review charts for accuracy and to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • This position will provide Telemedicine to facilities across the United States as needed. Travel not required.
  • Follow all internal policies and procedures; be accountable for completion of all operational tasks according to departmental guidelines to ensure appropriate clinical processing/documentation.
  • Advise administration of any issues that may impact the practice.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted license as an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Current DEA registration
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in primary care with correctional healthcare preferred

**This position requires 12 hour shifts with rotating every other Friday Saturday and Sunday.
