Lancashire County Councils Road Safety Team are looking for an exceptional new team member to join and support a multi-disciplinary team working with partners and colleagues to support make Lancashire roads safer.
We serve a population of 1.25 million living in cities towns and rural villages with a diverse geography and demographic providing a wide variety of road safety challenges.

The Road Safety Bikeability Officer will be based within the Road Safety TeamThe Road Safety Bikeability Officer will support the commissioning of Bikeability cycle training across Lancashire. With the aim of preventing road casualties in Lancashire and improving road safety for children who travel on our highway network. Bikeabilityis the governments national cycle training programme. It helps you learn practical skills and understand how to cycle on todays roads. Bikeabilitygives everyone the confidence to cycle and enjoy this skill for life.
The successful candidates will use their administration business skills to ensure that our road safety work is effectively supported to maximise the potential to reduce collisions injuries and fatalities on the roads in Lancashire.
