Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist looking to make a meaningful difference in the aged care sector on a part-time basis. This role will be based at our Mertome facility in Baywater with the opportunity to work across multiple homes across the Perth metro region.
About the role
This exciting and dynamic role provides varied and rewarding work in a residential aged care facility. The role includes delivery of onsite clinical pharmacy services including medication reviews vaccination clinics clinical governance education and training.
Working in an interdisciplinary team with nurses physiotherapists occupational therapists dieticians and GPs provides a rich clinical environment driving excellence in health outcomes for our residents.
We encourage applicants with strong communication skills sound clinical knowledge and who enjoy working as part of a healthcare team to apply.
What youll bring
Applicants must hold:
- A Bachelors degree in Pharmacy
- Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- An Aged Care Onsite Pharmacist (ACOP) Credential OR a Medication Management Review (MMR) Credential with commitment to obtain an ACOP credential before June 30 2025*
- National Police Clearance (obtained in last six months)
- Evidence of 2024 Influenza vaccination (or be willing to obtain)
- Full working rights in Australia
